Boyfriend shot during domestic situation between ex-couple

HOUSTON (KIAH) – A domestic dispute leaves a man injured in West Houston. Officers responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in the 1300 block of Cranberry Drive. The incident occurred at 1 a.m. Police found a man shot multiple times. He was taken to hospital in stable condition. According to the Houston Police Department (HPD), the ex-boyfriend of a woman who lives at the residence started an argument that resulted in the shooting of her current boyfriend. The suspect fled the scene, but HPD identified the man who was just released from jail.
