Man attacked with machete walks 30 minutes to Seattle clinic – KIRO 7 News Seattle

SEATTLE – A man is in serious condition after being attacked with a machete in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District and walking 30 minutes to a clinic in the Central District.

On July 25 at around 6:30 p.m., Seattle Police were called to a local clinic in the 2100 block of East Yesler Way and informed that a man had come to the clinic with numerous deep cuts to his arms and head.

Seattle Fire Department responded to the scene and took the 35-year-old man to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.

The victim told police that he was attacked with a machete after an altercation with another man near 12th Avenue South and South King Street and walked 30 minutes to the clinic.

The police were unable to locate the suspect and a woman accompanying him because a lot of time had passed between the alleged attack and the arrival of the police.

According to police, the woman was not involved in the attack.
