BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — From festivals to fairs and more, here are 7 things to do in Western New York this weekend!

Buffalo Italian Heritage Festival
The Buffalo Italian Heritage Festival kicked off Friday and runs through Sunday on Hertel Avenue. It runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. “Our festival on Hertel Avenue is in the heart of North Buffalo, offering the sights, sounds and aromas of Italy for three glorious days in July. Dozens of local vendors will be offering all the traditional Italian and Italian-American specialties we all love,” its website states. Buffalo Irish Festival
The Buffalo Irish Festival kicked off Friday and runs through Sunday at Buffalo Outer Harbor. It runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. “The Buffalo Irish Festival will celebrate the best of Irish culture, music, dance and history,” its website states. Cheektowaga Polish-American Arts Festival
The Cheektowaga Polish American Arts Festival kicked off Friday and runs through Sunday at Cheektowaga Town Park. It runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. “The Cheektowaga Polish American Arts Festival provides an annual opportunity for families and friends to come together and celebrate the richness of Polish culture and cuisine. An old-fashioned atmosphere. Our free, family-friendly environment offers something for everyone. Authentic world-class music, delicious Eastern European cuisine, a beer and wine garden, sheltered dining areas, ongoing demonstrations and lectures, a heritage bazaar market and craft fair,” its website states. Buffalo Garden Walk
Garden Walk Buffalo will take place Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in neighborhoods throughout the City of Buffalo. “Just grab a map and start visiting! Over 300 creative and gracious gardeners are eager to see you again, or for the first time. Garden Walk Buffalo attracts visitors from the United States, Canada and beyond. Tens of thousands of visitors come to the beautiful City of Buffalo to enjoy the creativity and hard work of its best ambassadors: its gardeners,” its website states. Genesee and Orleans County Fairs
The Genesee County Fair kicked off on July 20 and runs through Saturday on E Main Street Road in Batavia. The Orleans County Fair kicked off on July 22 and also runs through Saturday on State Route 31 in Albion. You can expect animals, rides, food and more at each fair. WNY Vegetarian Festival
WNY VegFest will take place on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. at the Johnnie B. Wiley Sports Pavilion. There will be vegetarian food, children’s activities, vendors/exhibitors, and more. “WNY Vegfest features world-class speakers, exhibitors, vendors, live music, delicious and healthy food, children’s activities, entertaining performances, and more! 55th Annual East Aurora Sidewalk Sale and Street Festival
The 55th annual East Aurora Sidewalk Sale and Street Festival will take place Saturday along Main Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be more than 100 vendors, a kids zone, chalk murals, live music, entertainment and more. More information can be found here.
