Elon Musk says his transgender daughter was ‘killed by the woke mind virus’

Elon Musk said in a new interview that he is on a quest to “destroy” the “woke mind virus,” claiming it “killed” his estranged transgender daughter, including her deadname and misgendering of her daughter.

Speaking to psychologist and conservative commentator Dr. Jordan Peterson, the 53-year-old billionaire mentioned his 20-year-old daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson and her decision to undergo gender reassignment surgery. She is one of six children he has with ex-wife Justine Wilson.

Musk said his daughter, who came out as transgender in 2016, chose to undergo gender reassignment surgery during the pandemic. He also criticized the procedure as “evil,” describing it as “child mutilation and sterilization under the guise of gender reassignment surgery.”

“I was basically tricked into signing documents for one of my older sons,” Musk told Peterson during the Daily Wire interview. “This was really before I even understood what was going on, and we had COVID, so there was a lot of confusion and I was told Xavier might commit suicide.”

Wilson was officially granted her name and gender transition in a California court in Santa Monica on June 22, 2022, at the age of 18. In court documents from the time, she said she no longer wanted to be related to Musk “in any way, shape or form.”

Musk also reflected on “deadnaming,” the act of calling a transgender or nonbinary person by the name they used before undergoing gender reassignment surgery.

“It’s called ‘deadnaming’ for a reason,” noted Telsa’s CEO. “The reason it’s called ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead. So my son, Xavier, is dead, killed by the woke mind virus.”
