“All My Children” actress Esta TerBlanche dies at 51

Former actress from “All My Children” This TerBlanche died at the age of 51, her goddaughter, Barbie Ashleyconfirmed TMZ on Sunday (21 July).

TerBlanche, a native of South Africa, is best known for her role as Gillian Andrassy on the ABC The actress, known from the soap opera, is said to have died about a day before her body was recovered from her home in North Hollywood, California, medical professionals confirmed. Lisa Rodrigothe actress’s press agent, confirmed in a post shared on her Facebook account that her client died on Thursday (July 18).

“I can’t believe I’m posting this. It is with a heavy heart that I announce that my friend and client Esta TerBlanche passed away on Thursday of natural causes,” Rodrigo wrote. “An autopsy report is pending.”

“I am still processing this and am in shock. Esta was a beautiful soul inside and out. I was proud to know her and work with her. I will learn more in the coming days.

“Thank you for the messages so far. If I haven’t gotten to you yet, I will soon.”

“May she rest in peace in the circle of angels that she is.”

TerBlanche won the title of Miss Teen South Africa in 1991 before appearing in the soap opera Egoli: Place of Gold in her home country from 1992 to 1995. The actress moved to the USA in the late 1990s and landed her role as Gillian in All my children in 1997, appearing in 109 episodes from 1997 to 2001 and one further appearance in 2011.
