A crash in Texas County sends three people to the hospital

A personal injury accident occurred around 5:00 p.m. Thursday evening on US-64 and Mile 14, approximately eleven miles north and six miles west of Goodwell, OK.

A 2018 Subaru Crosstrek driven by Feather A Metsc, age 42, of Tulsa, and a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado, driven by Kathryn E Maravilla, age 25, Guymon, were both traveling eastbound on US-64 when the Subaru tried to attempt a U-turn. The Colorado struck the Subaru on the driver’s side, causing the pickup to roll a quarter turn and eventually come to rest on the driver’s side. The pickup veered off the road to the left and ended up in the ditch.

Etsc was transported by Guymon EMS to Guymon Airport and then by Apollo Evac to Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas in serious condition with hip, back, neck and arm injuries.

Maravilla was transported via POV to Texas County Memorial Hospital, treated and released.

A juvenile male, age 1, in Guymon’s pickup truck was also transported via POV to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Treated and released.
