Man dies after shooting in Fremont at corner of Blaisdell Way and Nichols Avenue, police say

FREMONT, California – A man was shot and killed in the Niles neighborhood of Fremont on Saturday, police said.

Several 911 callers reported the shooting around 1:25 p.m. in the area of ​​Blaisdell Way and Nichols Avenue, police said.

The victim’s death was confirmed at the crime scene.

In a press release at 6:45 p.m., investigators asked the public to avoid the area for the next few hours.
