Woman killed, four injured in north of city

One person is dead and four were injured after a crash Saturday night in Des Moines. It occurred just after 8 p.m. at the intersection of 2nd and Holcomb avenues on the city’s north side. One woman was pronounced dead at the scene and four others — two adults and two minors — were taken to local hospitals with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
