A child was injured in a horse-drawn carriage accident on Pembroke Oak Grove Road Saturday morning.

Christian County emergency responders said a 2-year-old boy was struck by the horse-drawn carriage and taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Pembroke Elementary School and then flown to a Nashville hospital.

The exact extent of the injuries was unknown.
