Bismarck man arrested, accused of beating grandmother | The mighty 790 KFGO

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – A 19-year-old Bismarck man was arrested Wednesday on attempted murder charges after he allegedly hit his grandmother with a large stick.

According to Bismarck police, officers were called to Skyway Park Village around 6:15 a.m. where a 77-year-old woman suffered severe cuts to her head.

Officers set up a cordon and eventually found Jordan Oster outside and determined he had assaulted his grandmother in a bedroom of the home.

Oster was arrested and taken to a hospital.

At the hospital, Oster is accused of assaulting an officer and a nurse.

Police say Oster will be sent to prison once he is medically cleared. The victim is expected to recover.
