Armed robbery under investigation in Luzerne County

Police are searching for a suspect following an armed robbery in Luzerne County. Police were called to the Dollar General on Kidder Street in Wilkes-Barre Township just after 9 p.m. Friday night. Investigators say a man entered the store’s cashier area where staff were counting cash, brandished two guns and demanded money before fleeing the store.
