Deadly fire: Teenager killed in house fire in Bayonne

BAYONNE, N.J. (WABC) – A teenager was killed in a fire in Bayonne, New Jersey, early Monday.

Shortly after midnight, a fire broke out in the house on Avenue C.

Heavy fire blazed from the windows of the house.

The Hudson County District Attorney’s Office said there was “one death among the juveniles” in the fire and the incident is currently under investigation.

Further information on the identity of the young person killed and the cause of the fire are not yet available.

An investigation is ongoing.
