Accident at the corner of Walnut and Madison leads to collision between vehicle and building

FRIDAY, JUNE 28, 7 PM – Danville Police report one minor injury and say the investigation is ongoing into an accident that occurred just before 6 p.m. Friday evening when a vehicle crashed into a commercial building on the southeast corner of Walnut and Madison, 211 North Walnut.

Witnesses said one vehicle may have disregarded a stop sign on Madison, causing the other vehicle to crash into the building. At press time, police are still compiling details.
