Miramar police search for suspects in fatal drive-by shooting – NBC 6 South Florida

Police are searching for two suspects in connection with a drive-by shooting that left a man dead one day after his 20th birthday.

Jameel Blemur, 23, is wanted for premeditated murder, Miramar police said. He is accused of killing 20-year-old Ernst Valcourt on March 19.

The shooting occurred around 11:45 a.m. outside a home in the 3200 block of Southwest 66th Way. Aerial footage from Helicopter 6 showed a white Bentley riddled with bullet holes in the driveway of the home.

According to police, Valcourt did not live in the house but was visiting friends there. It is assumed that he was shot in or near the Bentley.

The FBI had previously stated that it was looking for 22-year-old Zacahary Sloan Thelusma for his suspected involvement in the shooting. On May 2, he was charged with first-degree murder with a firearm and a state warrant was issued for his arrest.

Anyone with information on the suspects’ whereabouts should call Miramar Police at 954-493-TIPS.
