FORECAST: FIRST WARNING TONIGHT – KSTP.com 5 Eyewitness News

Isolated severe storms will develop this afternoon and evening. The primary threat will be damaging winds, with some tornadoes possible, as well as heavy hail. The threat of severe weather is now primarily through midnight. These storms will be isolated at first, but could develop into a complex with gusts of 75 mph and move southeastward, particularly through southeastern Minnesota into Wisconsin.

Where there are severe storms, we will also experience heavy rains, with rainfall totals of up to 3 inches. Because of this, a flood warning has been issued for the metropolis this evening. Where there are no storms, there will also be no heavy rains. The storms will not be widespread, but there is a chance of severe storms for everyone this evening, so please stay up to date with the weather forecast.
