According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a woman was killed in a collision on a highway in Ottawa County on Saturday afternoon.

A woman was killed in a collision on an Ottawa County expressway Saturday afternoon, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.Open the video player above to see some of the headlines KOCO 5 is tracking.At about 3:30 p.m., Lorie Boyd, 59, of Mounds, Kansas, was driving a vehicle at the intersection of US-60 and OK-10, about a mile east of Wyandotte, when the vehicle disregarded a stop sign, entered the intersection and was struck by another vehicle, troopers said.Boyd was taken to a Missouri hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries hours later. A passenger in the vehicle was not injured, the patrol reported.>> Download the KOCO 5 appThe driver of the other vehicle, Gary Goswick, 71, of Wichita, Kansas, was taken to a Missouri hospital, treated for his injuries and released. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a woman was killed in a collision on a highway in Ottawa County on Saturday afternoon.

At about 3:30 p.m., 59-year-old Lorie Boyd of Mounds, Kansas, was driving a vehicle at the intersection of US-60 and OK-10, about one mile east of Wyandotte, when the vehicle ignored a stop sign, entered the intersection and was struck by another vehicle, troopers said.

Boyd was taken to a hospital in Missouri, where she died of her injuries hours later. A passenger in the vehicle was not injured, police reported.

The driver of the other vehicle, Gary Goswick, 71, of Wichita, Kansas, was taken to a Missouri hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released. A passenger in the vehicle, Betty Goswick, 78, of Wichita, Kansas, was also taken to the hospital where she was treated for her injuries and released, troopers said.
