Motorcyclist killed in Blooming Prairie crash – ABC 6 News

A 57-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident in Blooming Prairie on Thursday.

(ABC 6 News) – A 57-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Blooming Prairie on Thursday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2003 Saturn L300 and a 2008 Honda motorcycle were both traveling north on Highway 218/Highway 30 when they collided at 11:54 a.m.

The driver of the car, Mya Gaul, and her two passengers were not injured in the accident.

“From my perspective as the driver of the car, I was standing at the intersection next to the Dollar General waiting for the cars in front of me to turn. As I stopped, I was hit from behind by a motorcycle. It slid under my vehicle and unfortunately didn’t make it out,” Gaul said.

The identity of the motorcyclist has not yet been disclosed.

The Blooming Prairie ambulance, fire department and police arrived at the scene.
