The Newport Police Department has provided the following arrest and incident logs from 7:00 a.m. June 18, 2024, to 7:00 a.m. June 20, 2024.

Tuesday, June 18

At 11:15 a.m., Armand St. Laurent, 56, of Newport, Rhode Island, was cited by Officer Casale. He was charged with littering, water pollution and consumption of alcohol, possession or opening of containers in public.

At 9:20 p.m., Armand St. Laurent, 56, of Newport, Rhode Island, was cited by Officer Arel for consumption of alcohol, possession and open container in public.

Wednesday, June 19

At 1:25 p.m., 24-year-old Artur Bordianu of Newport, Rhode Island, was cited by Officer Cavallaro for urinating, coughing, or defecating in public.

At 3:06 a.m., Emanuele Colella, 29, of Newport, Rhode Island, was cited by Officer Chiang for urinating, coughing, or defecating in public.

At 8:37 a.m., Brian Kelley, 41, of Middletown, Rhode Island, was arrested by Officer Casale for Driving While License Suspended/Revoked/Revoked (fourth offense).

At 5:20 p.m., 35-year-old David Drew, whose address was not released, was arrested by Officer Arel on charges of resisting lawful or unlawful arrest and violating a no contact order (third or subsequent offense).

At 7:14 p.m., Oscar Cole, 40, of Newport, Rhode Island, was cited by Officer Horwood for urinating, coughing, or defecating in public.

At 9 p.m., 67-year-old James Day, whose address was not released, was arrested by Officer Michaud and charged with domestic disturbance, vandalism/intentional damage to property, and refusal to surrender a telephone.

Thursday, 20 June

At 1:10 a.m., Tyrell Gadson, 34, of Newport, Rhode Island, was arrested by Officer McCabe for Driving with an Expired or No License – 4th + Offense.

At 6:20 a.m., 61-year-old Frank Michaels of Newport, Rhode Island, was arrested by Officer Rayner for disturbing the peace and simple assault.
