Two children in the Blazer, ages 1 and 7, from Dallas, were both taken to Cimarron Memorial Hospital and then flown to Northwest Texas Healthcare System. Neither was injured in the crash.

The cause of the accident and the condition of the drivers are under investigation. Both the drivers and Lester were wearing seat belts, and the Blazer had child restraints installed. OHP stated that the one-year-old was trapped and extricated from the vehicle.
