AGT star Howie Mandel’s wife found in “pool of blood” after drunken accident

Howie Mandel had an unforgettable night after he and his wife Terry Soil partied too much in Las Vegas.

The AGT The 68-year-old judge recalled the horrific moment when he found his wife of over 40 years lying in a pool of blood after she fell and hit her head following a night in the Sin City.

Howie appeared on Monday Live with Kelly and Mark and admitted that he did not know how “tipsy” Terry was before they went to bed, but that he was abruptly awakened by a loud noise shortly afterwards.

“We were partying. It was too much. And (Terry) was drunk. I didn’t know that, and in the middle of the night she got up and, I don’t know where she was going, but she ran into the wall,” he recalled.

“And she fell and hit the panel. She hit it as she went down. She slipped, went down, hit her eye with it, then fell to the floor and broke her cheek.”

He continued: “I heard ‘bang’ and ‘ahh’ and I woke up and said, ‘Where are you?’ And she said, ‘I don’t know.’ That’s what she said.”

A shocking photo of Terry’s injuries was then shown on the screen, showing her with extensive bruising, a slanting cut across her forehead and lacerations to her eye.

Howie described the scene when he found his wife: “I turn on the light, look, look around the bed. She’s laying in the corner, face down, and I didn’t know she had cut her head open.”

“But there’s blood collecting,” he continued. “I freaked out. I picked her up and put her on the bed. There’s blood everywhere.”

“I went and grabbed all the towels, and all the towels were covered in blood. And she said, ‘Get me some ice. Get me some ice.’ I don’t know where to get some ice.”

Howie was forced to use a soda can from the hotel minibar, which did nothing to ease Terry’s pain as he admitted she had thrown the can across the room.

“When she did that, I saw her head, and you could even see her skull. It opened up,” he revealed to the gasps of the audience. “I freaked out.”

After a hospital visit, Howie reported that Terry had now fully recovered and her injuries had not even left any scars.

“She’s absolutely perfect,” he said. “She has no scar. She’s beautiful.”

Howie and Terry have been lovers since childhood and met in line at McDonald’s when 12-year-old Howie realized he didn’t have enough money.

“I actually borrowed money from her,” he said during a 2022 appearance on Today with Hoda and Jenna. “I didn’t know her and I was a few dollars short for fries and she lent me money. She was about 14 at the time and she lent me money. And I’ve been paying her back ever since,” he added.

It wasn’t until Howie was 19 that the two began dating and married in Toronto in 1980. They have three children together: daughters Jackelyn Shultz and Riley Mandel and a son, Alex Mandel.
