Murder investigation underway after woman found dead in Lynwood

Authorities are investigating an incident that left a woman dead in Lynwood on Monday.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, it happened around 11:15 a.m. in the 12,000 block of Long Beach Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they found the woman dead at the scene. Her identity has not yet been released.

The circumstances of her death are not yet known. Investigators have not provided any information about a possible suspect.
