Tulare County dairy barn fire sparks investigation | YourCentralValley.com

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An investigation is ongoing after a fire at a dairy barn in Tulare County, the Tulare County Fire Department said.

Firefighters responded to a fire at a commercial building in the 18000 block of 24th Street in Waukena. Upon arrival, firefighters saw heavy smoke coming from a dairy barn and a large fire inside.

Fire officials say all workers were evacuated from the building and there were no injuries. Two command vehicles, five fire engines, two water trucks, a light and air unit and three incident commanders arrived on scene, and Tulare County officials assisted with perimeter control.

The cause of the fire is still unknown as of Monday evening and is the subject of investigation.
