Gordon Ramsay has a message for Father’s Day after bicycle accident in Connecticut

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has an important message to share after being injured in a “serious accident” while “cycling in Connecticut.”

“Wear a helmet,” Ramsay posted on Instagram.

While the 23rd and 24th seasons of “Hell’s Kitchen” are filming at the Foxwoods Resort Casino, the multi-Michelin-starred celebrity chef has been spotted in Mystic more than once.

He wrote that for Father’s Day on Sunday, he had “a very important message for all the dads out there: WEAR A HELMET.”

“This week I had a really bad accident while riding my bike in Connecticut. I’m OK and didn’t break any bones or sustain any major injuries, but I’m a little bruised and look like a purple potato,” he wrote. “I’m grateful to all the doctors, nurses and staff at (Lawrence) + Memorial Hospital in New London who took care of me and checked me out, but I’m most grateful for my helmet, which saved my life.”

“Happy Father’s Day and take care.”

Fast forward to Wednesday, June 5, where The Shipwright’s Daughter also shared a photo with Ramsay.
