1 person in custody, another in hospital after suspected road rage incident in Cedar City

Cedar City – The City of Wonders — According to Cedar City police, one person was hospitalized and another was taken into custody following an alleged road rage incident Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, the incident occurred in the area of ​​Fiddlers Canyon Drive and Main Street. The suspect allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot the victim.

In a post on Facebook, police said the suspect was “quickly arrested.” The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for his injuries. The victim’s condition has not been released.
