Police investigate shooting near intersection in western Phoenix

PHOENIX – Police are investigating a shooting that occurred the night of June 12.

The shooting occurred near 55th Avenue and Osborn. Officers who arrived at the scene found a victim described only as a man. That person was taken to the hospital with an injury that is not considered life-threatening.

A vehicle was seen leaving the area. Police were able to catch up with it, but several people jumped out and ran away. Some of them were arrested.
