4 recovered, dog killed after house fire in Tulare County

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) – Four people are on the mend, but a dog was lost when a house fire broke out in Tipton.

The Tulare County Fire Department reported the fire at the corner of Thompson and Spencer Road before 10 a.m. Tuesday.

They say two patients suffered moderate burns and two others are being treated for smoke inhalation.

We were told that emergency responders attempted to resuscitate a dog suffering from smoke inhalation, but the animal did not survive.

The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
