One dead in shooting in southeast Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — One person is dead after a shooting Tuesday afternoon in southeast Columbus.

A police dispatcher said a call came in at 1:20 p.m. about a shooting in the 5600 block of Chatterton Road near Blacklick. A victim was found and pronounced dead at 1:29 p.m.

Columbus Police are on scene investigating the shooting. No further information is available at this time.
