Police are investigating the incident at The Shoppes at English Village on Wednesday morning

A heavy police presence at the Shoppes at English Village on Wednesday morning reportedly closed the mall for just over an hour.

According to Fox29, shortly after 6 a.m. several police officers, some with guns drawn, responded to the Shoppes at the English Village on Bethlehem Pike in Horsham Township

Police reportedly used a fire ladder to climb to the roof above the Jems Jewels & Gold jewelry store in the complex.

Horsham Community Police Services posted on Horsham ChATs on Facebook that there was no danger to the public.

The parking lot reopened to customers around 7:17 a.m

According to Fox29, there were reports of a shooting in the area, but it has not yet been confirmed by police.
