Amber Alert has been issued for a one-year-old who was last seen in West Covina

Authorities issued an Amber Alert early Wednesday for a 1-year-old who was last seen in the city of West Covina.

The California Highway Patrol issued an alert about the missing baby shortly after 1:30 a.m., identifying the child as Weston Landrum and the suspect in his abduction as Wesley Williams, 46. CHP officials did not provide any information about a possible relationship between the two .

The pair was last seen near North Grand Avenue and North Fairway Lane around 9 p.m., and the vehicle Williams is believed to be driving is a white 2014 Toyota Tacoma pickup, according to the CHP.

Landrum is described by authorities as blonde with blue eyes, 3 feet tall and weighing 20 pounds. According to the CHP, he was wearing camouflage pants and a gray shirt with a picture of a rabbit.

Williams has brown hair, blue eyes, is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds, CHP officials said. He has a wing tattoo on the front of his neck and was wearing a Hawaiian shirt, blue jeans and gray/blue shoes.

CHP said the Amber Alert was issued on behalf of the West Covina Police Department.

No further information was released.
