Teenager killed in traffic accident in Hamilton County

According to police, the accident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. near 206th Street and Six Points Road.

WESTFIELD, Indiana – One person was killed in a car crash in Hamilton County Friday afternoon.

Investigators said a westbound van stopped at the intersection of 206th Street and Six Points Road.

As the van entered the intersection, police said, an SUV traveling north apparently ignored the stop sign and rammed the van.

The vehicles then collided with another car traveling south on Six Points Road.

The juvenile driver and a juvenile passenger in the van were taken to St. Vincent Hospital on 86th Street.

One of the teenagers died in hospital.

Two other people were injured in the accident.
