Arcadia man faces DWI and weapons charges after incident on Ryder Road.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of an Arcadia man for drunken driving (DWI) and criminal possession of a weapon. Anthony L. Santiago, 41, was arrested after officers responded to a report of a man unresponsive in a vehicle on Ryder Road in the town of Arcadia.

Upon arrival, officers found Santiago operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state. During the investigation, they also discovered that Santiago was in possession of a switchblade. Santiago refused to submit to a chemical blood test to determine his alcohol level.

Santiago was processed and released with appearance tickets. He is scheduled to appear in Arcadia Municipal Court to face the charges on June 26, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.
