Buffalo Man Wins Trip to Norway in Tops Monopoly

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man is now one of the Tops Monopoly “Rip It, Win It, Reach for the Stars” grand prize winners.

Tops claims that Dr. Eugene Ravenell is one of five grand prize winners, choosing to accept $15,000 for a trip to view the Northern Lights in Norway. His prize was presented to him Wednesday morning at Tops on Amherst Street.

Dr. Ravenell said he had a choice between the trip or $20,000 in food and gas. In the morning, he told News 4, “It still hasn’t been addressed yet.” »

Tops claims the game has generated more than 665,000 winners in total, with more prizes up for grabs.
