Chico woman arrested Tuesday for assault with a deadly weapon | News

CHICO, California. — A Chico woman was arrested after she attempted to stab a man following a verbal altercation between them.

At approximately 7:15 p.m., Chico police officers were dispatched to the area of ​​1950 East 20th Street on a report that a woman had attempted to stab a man.

When officers arrived in the area, they found and located 26-year-old Sequoia Daub in a nearby business parking lot, police said. Daub was arrested and officers recovered a knife nearby.

Other officers then located the man, who told them he was the victim in that incident, police said.

Daub was identified as a suspect and arrested, police said.

Daub was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and taken to the Butte County Jail.

The man was not injured in the incident.
