Body found in Dunn on East Johnson Street

DUNN, N.C. (WTVD) – Police are investigating after a body was found in Harnett County on Sunday.

Around noon, Dunn Police and EMS were called to the bridge on E. Johnson Street in Dunn because a person was reported deceased.

Harnett County officials, the North Carolina Medical Examiner and other investigators were on scene.

ABC11 is working to find out more about the victim.

The cause of death is currently being investigated.
