Boston police investigate serious stabbing Saturday night in Jamaica Plain

Boston police are investigating a serious stabbing that occurred Saturday night near busy Egleston Square in Jamaica Plain.

It happened near 3096 Washington Street in JP near Columbus Avenue.

Police said they responded to a 911 call about a person stabbed shortly before 9 p.m. They did not disclose whether the person stabbed was a man or a woman.

Shortly after 10 p.m., Boston Police informed 25 News of the victim’s endangerment and reported that he had sustained life-threatening injuries.

“The homicide squad has been notified and is responding,” police said in a statement.

No arrests have been made and police say investigations are ongoing.
