Fairfield County Deputies: Centerville man arrested for methamphetamine trafficking

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, SC (WOLO)– A Centerville man was arrested in the evening hours of Wednesday after investigators obtained a search warrant, officials said.

33-year-old William “Will” C. Dinkins was arrested for trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office said the arrest came after a drug search warrant was executed for a home on Wood Duck Road in the Centerville neighborhood of Fairfield County in the evening hours of Wednesday, May 29.

According to Sheriff Montgomery, over ten grams of methamphetamine were found, as well as a quantity of clonazepam tablets (a Schedule IV narcotic) and a handgun.

Dinkins was taken to the Fairfield County Detention Center to await a bail hearing.
