4 suspects broke into a home in Gwinnett, police say they may have done so throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area – WSB-TV Channel 2

GWINNETT COUNTY, Georgia – Gwinnett County police are searching for four people who allegedly broke into a woman’s home.

They say a woman told police on May 3 that she returned home after being out of town for several days and found her house had been broken into.

Investigators say the four suspects arrived at the home in a U-Haul truck and packed up furniture, shoes, a PlayStation 5 and their 2008 Toyota Solara. The car was not found.

Police have identified three of them: Marion King, 24, of Stockbridge, Jhaniah Lanier, 24, of Lithonia, and Derrick Martin, 38, of Ellenwood. The fourth person is still being identified.

They obtained warrants to charge King, Lanier and Martin with burglary and theft, but did not take them into custody.

Investigators believe the group may also be responsible for similar break-ins in Dunwoody and unincorporated DeKalb County.
