Background of the case

Prajwal Revanna is at the centre of a fierce controversy that includes allegations of sexual assault. On April 27, a day after the Lok Sabha election in his constituency, the MP from Hassan fled India. His departure triggered a series of investigations that heightened media and public curiosity.
