ISP investigates after teenager found dead in Auburn mobile home park

AUBURN, Ind. (WPTA) – Indiana State Police (ISP) officials say they are investigating after a teenager was found dead at the Auburn Crossing mobile home park Thursday afternoon.

ISP Sgt. Brian Walker says police were called around 2 p.m. to a stabbing on Irene Street in the Auburn Crossing mobile home park

When police arrived, Walker said they found a 17-year-old boy outside a trailer who was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause and manner of death are currently under investigation.

ISP says a 19-year-old man is currently in police custody and has been named a person of interest in the investigation.
