Drug investigation leads Ogle County police to arrest Oregon man | MyStateline

OREGON, Ill. (WTVO) — An Oregon man was arrested Monday after police searched a home as part of a “lengthy” drug investigation.

According to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, officers executed a search warrant in the 300 block of N. 7th Street and arrested Christopher Cash, 36.


According to police, drugs and weapons were seized from the house.

He faces charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a weapon with a revoked FOID card, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a weapon silencer, unlawful possession of ammunition with a revoked FOID card and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said Cash was released from custody under Illinois’ Pretrial Fairness Act and ordered to appear at a later court date.
