The unsettled weather returns at the beginning of the week

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – It was a beautiful weekend, but rain and even storms could ruin your plans this week

You will also need the umbrella at the beginning of the week. Showers are possible in the morning, but rain and storms are expected in the afternoon and early evening. Highs will be in the low 70s.

Tuesday looks very restless. Widespread rain and storms are forecast. Some storms may produce gusty winds. Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid 70s.

A scattered shower is possible, especially early on Wednesday. There will be enough dry time. Highs will continue to be in the 70s.

Thursday is expected to be the driest day of the week with partly cloudy skies. It will be warmer with highs in the lower 80s. Another storm system moves in overnight and will continue into Friday.

Further showers and storms are expected on Friday. Rain will be scattered in nature. Highs will briefly fall back into the upper 70s.

NEXT WEEKEND

A scattered shower is still possible on Saturday, but no widespread rain is currently expected. On Sunday there will be a mix of sun and clouds. Highs both days will be in the low to mid 80s.
