Mooreland man injured in motorcycle accident | News

WOODWARD, Okla. – A Mooreland man was injured in a motorcycle accident north of Woodward on Friday evening, May 10, 2024.

Christopher Paul Rodriguez, 40, was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City and listed in stable condition with back and trunk injuries, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at 5:38 p.m. Friday on East County Road 28, about 1.5 miles north of Woodward.

According to an OHP report, Rogriguez was driving a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the road.

According to the report, his condition was listed as appearing normal and the cause of the accident was unsafe speed. According to the report, Rodriguez was ejected and was not wearing a helmet.
