Far-left activist arrested, claims media report shared by French minister

Paris: French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin on Monday retweeted a media report reporting that a far-left activist had been arrested in connection with the sabotage attack on France’s high-speed rail network last Friday.

Since the attack, which took place just hours before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, the government has not publicly announced any arrests.
