The OP explained that he and Seungkwan were not the closest of friends…

I went to elementary school with Seungkwan. We weren’t very close, but we were friends. When we got to middle school, an all-boys school, some kids started misbehaving to be seen as cool. During our first year there, I was bullied by “Kid A” at the school snack. I was buying snacks when A, who I had never met before, came up to me and asked me to lend him 100 won. I had already spent a lot of money on snacks, so I had no money left. When I told A that, A grabbed me by the collar and scolded me before going back to his classroom. I was scared that A might beat me up, but I was also angry that I had been treated like that. So I was in a bad mood when Seungkwan found me and started talking to me. He asked me what was wrong. When I explained what happened, Seungkwan held my hand and urged me to come with him to get an apology from A. At first, I told Seungkwan that I didn’t want an apology because I was afraid of A. But Seungkwan insisted that if I let the incident go, A would do it again. Seungkwan convinced me that I should let A know that what he did was wrong and that if I confronted him about it, he would never treat me badly again.

…but when he was in trouble, Seungkwan was on his side.

When Seungkwan and I went to A’s classroom and A came out to confront us, I was completely at a loss and couldn’t say anything. Seungkwan stood up to A on my behalf and asked him if he really asked me for money and scolded me. Seungkwan was so logical when he spoke. That was the first time I realized that you could win an argument without raising your voice and using swear words. A eventually apologized to me and never messed with me again. That was back when BIGBANG was popular. Seungkwan told everyone that he wanted to be a K-pop idol. Some of the other immature kids mocked him for this dream. But Seungkwan was so confident in his dream. That impressed me deeply and I wondered if he could make his dream come true. So whenever I come across videos like this, it fascinates me and fills me with so much respect for him.

Seungkwan would always blow in my face and ask me to check if his breath smelled bad. That always annoyed me a lot. But all jokes aside, Seungkwan was such a righteous kid. Now that I think about it, he hasn’t changed at all. He was born different. I don’t know if he remembers me, but I remember him as my beaming friend who checks his breath. I’m sure his fans know, but he’s such a good person. I didn’t mean to make this comment so long, but I didn’t mean to sound too serious or rude. Haha. Thanks for reading!
