The man is charged with child endangerment, fatal accident and victim identification in a fatal fire

A man is facing child endangerment charges in New Rochelle following an incident earlier this week, according to police. Noe Calderon approached a 13-year-old boy at his lemonade stand on North Avenue on Tuesday. Calderon is accused of trying to exchange numbers with the boy. He was found shortly after the boy and his parents reported him.

One person is dead after an accident at the Old Yellow Freight property on Thursday. According to state police, the incident occurred at the company’s location on Homestead Avenue in Maybrook. The victim died at the scene – but authorities would not confirm any further information about the accident. Yellow Freight ceased operations in Maybrook last summer. A source told News 12 that workers were on site picking up tractor-trailers that were recently purchased at auction.

Officials have identified the victim of a fatal house fire in Ossining. They have identified the man as 38-year-old Jesse Maccabee. The fire broke out at 366 Spring St. Maccabee died in the hospital. According to police, the fire does not appear suspicious.
