ABC-7 First Alert: Rain today, continued chance of rain this week for El Paso and Las Cruces

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) – Today, both El Paso and Las Cruces will experience varying weather conditions.

Daytime temperatures will reach over 30 degrees Celsius in both cities.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon, followed by widespread rain showers later in the evening.

The weather pattern will continue throughout the early part of the week, with isolated thunderstorms, mainly over the mountainous regions from Monday to Wednesday, although with less activity than in previous days.
