21-year-old dies in early morning traffic accident on Alabama 269 in Walker County

WALKER COUNTY, AL (WBMA) — A man was killed in a car accident in Walker County early Thursday morning.

At approximately 4:50 a.m., 21-year-old Dylan C. Rodgers of Parrish, Alabama was killed when his vehicle left the road on Alabama 269 near Old Parrish Road, struck an embankment and overturned.

According to Alabama State Police, Rodgers was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
