Man attacked and injured at PNC Bank ATM in Mobile

The Mobile Police Department is investigating after a man attempted to rob another man at an ATM.

The incident occurred around 7 a.m. Wednesday morning at the PNC Bank at 5351 Highway 90.

The man saw another man approaching him as he tried to withdraw cash. He realized he knew the person, but the person demanded money. The man refused and the two got into a fight.

During the scuffle, the victim suffered several cuts with a sharp object and fled without any money.

When police arrived, they found that the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.

Police did not provide a description of the suspect, but said it was important to keep an eye on his surroundings.

“It is always important to remain aware of your surroundings,” said spokesman Blake Brown. “Although this appears to be an incident involving well-known individuals, it serves as a reminder to remain vigilant.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the mobile police.
