Sexual assault in Ajax dressing room triggers Durham police investigation


Durham police are searching for a suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in Ajax.

They say the woman was in a dressing room at the McLean Community Centre on June 17.

According to police, the woman was approached by the suspect, who spoke to her and then touched her inappropriately.

The woman then ran away and sought help from a lifeguard.

During this time, the suspect fled the area.

The suspect is described as follows: male, black, 18-20 years old, 5’9″ tall, slim build, with black hair.

He was wearing a light T-shirt and grey sweatpants.
