2 transported after motorcycle accident in Harrison County

SHINNSTON, W.Va. (WBOY) — Two people were transported for treatment following a crash involving two motorcycles in Shinnston.

According to Harrison County’s emergency log, several departments responded to a report of a multi-vehicle crash in the 1400 block of Landing Way in Shinnston at 5 p.m.


A 911 dispatcher confirmed two motorcycles were involved and two people were taken by ambulance for treatment. The severity of their injuries was not specified.

The official also stated that the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.

The Shinnston and Worthington fire departments as well as the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and EMS responded to this emergency call.
